Ye Olde Record Shop: It seems Jack and Sarah have bought out the no-music-after-Black-Saturday guy. They dance behind the counter and rationalize carrying CD's alongside the vinyl. As Jack says, "With MP3s all over, CDs are the new vinyl -- just retro enough." The kids are enchanted by the old records, which they probably think are protypes of the Frisbee. Claire and Trevor enter. She's thrilled to find all the music she hasn't heard since college. Trevor asks if she even has a record player. She doesn't, but says maybe she'll get one. Trevor suggests that maybe she'll meet a guy who likes records, too. "Exploring commonalities -- like your DateWell questionnaire." Claire says she and DateWell have parted company. "Recent developments suggest to me that a computer may be unable to identify certain factors required to...uh...bring a relationship to life." Trevor finds that interesting and Claire gives him permission to gloat, brag and do his little goal-post dance. Trevor says, "No dancing, for it seems we have made a little ideological do-si-do." Claire is surprised that he thinks computers can bring people together. Trevor clarifies that's "Provided they work hand in hand with the human understanding of relationships. Look, I might have been a little hasty and harsh with you, Claire. I owe you an apology for not being open to more perspectives." Claire is surprised, but manages to thank him. As she walks off in search of more vintage vinyl, she says, "That really means a lot." Behind her back, Trevor smiles. "You're welcome...Tamara." Claire eyes spring open wide as does her mouth. She turns back to face Trevor. He eyes her in a sweet, but slightly suggestive way, and tries not to smirk. The End!

Blessings on all of you who hung in with the show through the whole six episodes and with me -- through all my whining. I can't imagine Cupid returning next fall, but I also thought Madonna was going to be a flash-in-the-pan, and that reality TV would be but a blip on our screens, so clearly, I'm no prophet. Be good, enjoy your summer, and remember that the best love involves thoughts and feeling. Cheers.

Cindy McLennan is really, really happy this was the season finale. If you're so inclined, feel free to send her some celebratory champagne at CynthiaMcLennan[at]gmail.com, or tweet it to her at http://twitter.com/CindyMcLennan.
