Antonio Sabato, Jr. Turns to VH1 for Love

Antonio Sabato, Jr. Turns to VH1 for Love From the makers of Paris Hilton's New BFF, VH1 brings you... an untitled matchmaking show starring Antonio Sabato, Jr. looking for love! The "Fantasy Man" (VH1's words, not mine) isn't looking for much; he just wants a woman who can skydive in an evening gown or re-create steamy love scenes in a soap opera fashion. Which isn't too much to ask, really, it's just terribly specific. I can totally see why he's had so much trouble finding this in the private sector. The show will be filmed like a soap opera, (somehow), with all of the challenges (including the two listed above), based entirely on soap opera conventions. Why all the soaps mania on this show? Because Antonio Sabato, Jr. used to be on General Hospital, that's why. Now, I hate these shows as much as the next person, but that premise is hysterical. What if all actors based their relationship expectations on their previous roles? I'd sure pity the poor bastard who tries to date Rutger Hauer. Which means only one thing -- it's totally time for more TWoP casting suggestions!

VH1's Fall Reality Lineup Bites Everyone's Steez

VH1's Fall Reality Lineup Bites Everyone's Steez Kathy Griffin did it. Sarah Silverman did it. Now raunch-tastical comedienne Margaret Cho is throwing her hat into the TV ring with The Cho Show, a reality show airing on VH1 that sounds, based on the description, like a mix between My Life on the D List and Celebrity Circus: "This VH1 series will follow the irrepressible Margaret Cho and her eccentric entourage as she fights to be herself in an industry that in the past wanted her to be something other than herself. The series will touch upon all aspects of Margaret's 'anything goes' lifestyle, from the strained and awkward moments provided by her somewhat traditional Korean parents to the more irreverent and outrageous moments shared with her colorful cast of friends and colleagues."

Other Networks That Need Live Topical Talk Shows

With news that AMC is planning to do a Watch What Happens Live-type talk show, we're thinking that more networks should be cashing in on this low-budget, highly-entertaining type of exclusive entertainment. Taking a page from Andy Cohen, who drove his Bravo behind-the-scenes series to success, here's how other networks could run their WHW-style shows.

Famous Food: TV’s Biggest Trainwrecks in One Convenient Place

I'm going to be honest here: I spent most of the first episode of this show transfixed by Heidi Montag's boobs in her pink shirt. Not in a pervy way, but because I was trying to figure out if she was wearing a strangely textured bra, was sitting at an odd angle or if her nipples actually point in two separate directions. When that is the most fascinating part of a series that has some of reality's most biggest nightmares, it's probably a bad omen.

Little Miss Perfect: Let the Child Abuse Games Begin!

Little Miss Perfect: Let the Child Abuse Games Begin! After spending a good portion of my Sunday pouring over (read: being jealous of their sparkly outfits and Country Music Awards hair) VH1's kiddie pageant special Little Beauties: Ultimate Kiddie Queen Showdown yesterday, I was overjoyed to discover that the WE network has ordered up six one-hour episodes of a similar show called Little Miss Perfect, which isn't as creepy a title as Little Beauties, but does ring bitchier, so I'm on board.
