'Tis the season for meeting TV dads, apparently.

Continuing its reign of awesome cast additions and guest stars, Deadwood veteran Larry Cedar will play Pierce's father on an upcoming episode of Community. We don't care that Chevy Chase is 12 years older than Cedar, nor that Pierce's dad is believed to be dead... we just want us some Leon back.

In a very slammer-centric chain of events, Prison Break's Wentworth Miller will guest star on House the same week House is released from jail. Fox should just go for the hat trick by animating the episode and letting Seth MacFarlane do all of the voice work. Honestly, we'd take that over the entire seventh season.

Oh, speaking of Fox, Bill Lawrence just sold them a project. The comedy apparently focuses on, "a father-son relationship, said to be inspired by Lawrence's real-life experiences." So, bitterly tweeting about having to change the name of Cougar Town?

Jim Belushi and Diane English (creator of Murphy Brown) are teaming up for a yet another ABC comedy about a father. We already, against all odds, like Suburbagatory. Don't push it.

Last night's Miss Universe Pageant saw its lowest ratings ever, dropping 16 percent from last year. Maybe because if Project Runway's Anya can't win, we all know the show is a sham.

Turns out that Tyler Perry is Hollywood's highest-paid man, topping Forbes' list with $130 million earned in the last year. Halleluyer indeed.
