The Charlie Sheen-free Two and a Half Men is still winning, apparently.

Last night's season premiere of Two and a Half Men drew in 27.7 million viewers (and a 10.3 rating for adults 18 to 49, if you're into that kind of thing) the highest the CBS show has seen. It's the biggest number for a sitcom since Everybody Loves Raymond's series finale in 2005, which brought in 32 million viewers. Who knew annoying men rake in all the ratings?

Troy and Abed and Annie in the mooooorning? Greendale's best buds are going to be gaining a third roommate this semester -- Annie, who viewers have already seen lives in a tiny apartment on the wrong side of town. Hopefully having a female roommate won't break up the bromance, or worse, cause them to let Chang move in, too.

Twilight's Cam Gigandet is trading in the sparkles and fangs for cowboy boots and the Wild Wild West. Gigandet will be playing one of three brothers on the TNT series Gateway. The siblings help save their small Colorado town after their father is murdered in the 1880s. At least it's not another vampire-themed show.

Melissa McCarthy's got it all: fresh off her Emmy win, the actress sold a comedy pilot to CBS with her husband, co-writer and co-executive producer Ben Falcone. (You might also recognize him as Air Marshall Jon, the object of McCarthy's affections in Bridesmaids). In addition, she recently sold a script about the Stanley Cup, was cast in Judd Apatow's Knocked Up spin-off film, will appear in the comedy ID Theft with Jason Bateman, and might co-star in a project with Jon Hamm, where his character is obsessed with her. And somewhere in that busy schedule, she'll probably act in a few Mike & Molly episodes as well... you know, being one of the title characters and everything.
