I guess the ratings on the Grammys are something to sing about.

The award show, which aired 24 hours after the news of singer/actress Whitney Huston's death surfaced, had a final viewer tally of 39.91 million, up by 50 percent from last year, and with the second-highest ratings in Grammy history. Even though singer Adele was the highest roller, taking home six awards, media darling Betty White somehow managed to win her first Grammy ever. What is this, the SAG Awards? The cast and crew of Glee will coincidentally be paying homage to the late Whitney Houston in tomorrow's episode, with (Spoiler Alert) Mercedes singing Houston's, "I Will Always Love You." Houston will also receive a card in the credits. But what does this mean for Samcedes?!

Looks like Joan River's will also be paying her respects to the singer this week. E! pulled Sunday's encore episode of Rivers' show Fashion Police that bashed the late superstar which first aired last Friday. It will be replaced by fifteen airings of Kim Kardashian's wedding, probably.

Roseanne Barr's new NBC show Downwardly Mobile has signed on John Goodman to play Roseanne's husband. The character will work off Barr's, making her more likeable to the audience, and allowing NBC to boast about a Roseanne reunion.

And we end with exciting news for yet another show about people putting permanent things on their body they'll most likely regret. Four weeks into its first season Spike TV's Ink Master was ordered for a second season, which is bad news if you're a pig carcass!
