Looks like Doctor Who is getting a new hottie companion.

Emmerdale star Jenna-Louise Coleman has signed on to co-star in the BBC series as the Doctor's sidekick, replacing Karen Gillan. The show's fans are now wondering which girl they'd rather sleep with in a perfect world, as if they've ever slept with a girl at all.

Sorry, moms in angst: Fox has officially cancelled I Hate My Teenage Daughter, effective immediately, after only one season. The show will be replaced with an extra hour of American Idol each night. Is this the lesser of two evils? I don't think so.

Jeff Foxworthy has been hired to host GSN's new game show titled The American Bible Challenge. The series is featured around questions pertaining to how well contestants know the Bible and its stories. The Flanders flock would be thrilled!

Ryan Murphy is expected to butcher cover another classic on Glee next season: The Who's 1969 rock-opera Tommy. Original Broadway actors Roger Daltrey and Pete Townsend are expected to make appearances, so it can't be all that bad, right?

The WE network has ordered two new documentary-style shows starring Cyndi Lauper and Kendra Wilkinson, called Cyndi and Kendra On Top respectively. Kendra On Top? Well isn't that just ironic and accurate all at the same time.

Cougar Town star Ryan Devlin signed on to Dane Cook's NBC comedy pilot Next Caller Please. Devlin will play Cook's snarky rival talk-show host at a radio station in New York. It's not too hard to out-snark Dane Cook, so it will be interesting to see this one play out.

ER's Eriq La Salle landed a guest-staring and possibly recurring role in the CBS' pilot Widow Detective. Meanwhile, Reno 911's Thomas Lennon nabbed a spot in New Girl, while Happy Ending's Greg Cromer will make an appearance in the upcoming Downwardly Mobile.

Law & Order: SVU star Stephanie March landed a role in the CBS drama pilot Baby Big Shot. March will play a law firm associate who aspires to own her own firm one day. Once you play a pushy lawyer, you always play a pushy lawyer, I guess?
