It's the most wonderful time of the year for SOAPnet fans.

The 2012 Daytime Emmy nominations have been announced. Chenbot: Activated.

As fans of Big Ang we're happy to hear that Mob Wives got renewed for a third season.

Unsurprisingly, NBC Law and Order: SVU has renewed for a 14th season. In development news, the network has ordered a firefighter drama called Chicago Fire and a period drama about pirates.

AMC has decided to show up for the renewing party, giving new seasons to both Talking Dead and Comic Book Men. Both shows will get 16-episode second seasons.

FX has added a female-centric series to its development line up, but unfortunately it's not a Justified spin-off starring Ava. The network has ordered an adaption of Chelsea Cain's best-selling book series Heartsick, which centers around "beautiful serial killer" Gretchen Lowell.

Just in case you thought Southie Pride was the worst Boston-set reality series on the horizon, you were so very wrong. A&E is set to start production on Southie Rules, a show that follows a wacky South Boston-based family.

TLC has ordered two special episodes of Virgin Diaries, a show that follows around... well, virgins. Good work on always making me laugh, TLC.
