Community rocks the Comic-Con house.

The eagerly-awaited Comic-Con Community panel happened in San Diego earlier today and on-the-scene reports suggested that enraged fans did not tackle incoming showrunners Moses Port and David Guarascio and lock them in the stockyards for Dan Harmon to toss rotten fruit at. Instead, the audience politely applauded the duo's appearance onstage and whooped it up when five of the seven members of the Greendale study group (minus Chevy Chase and Donald Glover) marched into the room. The new guys promised to maintain what was great about the series and Danny Pudi did his Batman impression, so everyone went home happy. Everyone, we're assuming, besides Harmon, who was probably watching the panel in a Stormtrooper outfit.

Looks like The X Factor isn't the only Fox singing competition to experience a major shake-up. In the past 24 hours, American Idol has shed two of its three judges. First, Steven Tyler ditched Idol to refocus his copious energy on Aerosmith (remember them?) and then just this morning Jennifer Lopez told host Ryan Seacrest that she's departing as well. And believe it or not, even returning champion Randy Jackson may finally have uttered his last "dawg" as his contract is up and there's no word on whether he'll be back. At this point, it sounds like next season may just be Seacrest up onstage, introducing performers and judging them while taking big swigs of Coca-Cola. We'd watch the hell out of that.

Is David Letterman getting into the spoiler game now? The late-night host may have given away the ending to The Dark Knight Rises during his interview with Anne Hathaway (a.k.a. Catwoman) on last night's show. Be warned Dave: Hathaway's not kidding when she warns you that director Christopher Nolan (not to mention movie fans) will go all-Dark Knight on your ass if you pull that kind of stunt again.

Yet another reason to go to Comic-Con. They got a sneak peek at Homeland's second season in a special promo that will hopefully be released to the public soon. Apparently it reveals that Brody is now in office, Carrie has taken up gardening and Saul is tasked with another international crisis, this time involving terrorist activity in Israel. September 30 can't get her soon enough.

Finally, we'll leave you with an image that should warm every geek's heart: the Firefly cast (minus a few key players) reunited at Comic-Con. If nothing else, these photos confirm that Summer Glau is one tall drink of water. Emphasis on the word "tall."
