The contestants have finally been announced for RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race, and there's about a billion reasons why this competition excites us way more than any of those Idol-lookalikes. Most of those reasons have to do with the excess of glitter.

Ever since RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race was announced, we've been desperately counting down the days until the final list was revealed (okay, maybe we care a tad too much...). The twelve queens competing this season are Chad Michaels, Yara Sofia, Pandora Boxx, Jujubee, Nina Flowers, Mimi ImFurst, Manila Luzon, Shannel, Alexis Matteo, Tammie Brown, Raven and Latrice Royale. Are you Team Shannel or Team Latrice? Either way, we're all Team RuPaul.

It's a Dawson's Creek reunion on Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23; Busy Philips will guest star as herself on the Season 2 premiere, trading self-aware wisecracks with Dawson himself, James Van Der Beek. No word yet on whether Katie Holmes -- whose character Joey roomed with Busy's Audrey during the show's college years -- will join the series as well, but her schedule seems pretty clear now that she's no longer committed to the role of Tom Cruise's wife.

Grey's Anatomy is putting one of their actresses on the other side of the camera. Debbie Allen, who played Jackson Avery's mother, Catherine, on the serieswill direct the third episode of the new season. After last season's plane crash left the surviving doctors stranded in the woods (which still didn't even make it in the top ten of craziest Grey's moments, but whatever) the series will jump ahead three months for the premiere episode, return back to last season's finale for the second and then return to the present timeline for Allen's episode. Confused yet? At least that'll distract us from the tragic ending of last season.

Another southern belle joins Heart of Dixie -- Laura Bell Bundy, best known for originating the role of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde: The Musical will join next season as Shelby, a potential love interest for George, which is weird, because we had assumed that Zoe was the only one who was allowed to attract the male attention on this show.

Tyra is pulling out all the stops for Cycle l9 (19!) of America's Next Top Model. Alicia Keys and Tyler Perry will mentor the aspiring models on the series -- because whenever you think of high fashion, you think of Tyler Perry. Shenae Grimes, better known as the unbelievably self-absorbed and irritating Annie Wilson on 90210, will also join the models next season as -- seriously -- a photographer on one of the fashion shoots. But perhaps the best news of all is that Tyra has found yet a new way to deliver Tyra Mail. Carrier pigeons are the only thing that she hasn't tried yet, so we're pretty excited.

A new girl is joining the boys club on Men at Work. Peri Gilpin of Frasier fame will join the cast as the new boss at magazine Full Steam, where Danny Masterson and Co. work. We're happily surprised that this is actually a decent sitcom, though we're thinking that it probably doesn't make up for the years that Masterson spent watching Ashton Kutcher raking in millions from starring in terrible romantic comedies and Two And a Half Men...

The other That 70's Show cast member with a lukewarm career, Wilmer Valderrama, will guest star on Raising Hope as a man who romances Melanie Griffith's character. Somehow this relationship is still not quite as gross as any of the ones that Fez was involved in.

The 2000 Danny Boyle film The Beach might be coming to the small screen. Andrew Miller, who wrote the original script for the angsty and crystal-heavy The Secret Circle is planning on adapting the film for Fox. No word on who is interested in stepping into Leonardo DiCaprio's shoes, but since Michael Pitt's role on Boardwalk Empire has been, uhmm, cut short, we could see him doing some deep-sea diving DiCaprio style...
