More like Dirty No Jobs, if you know what I mean.

Discovery has axed Dirty Jobs, much to the bemusement of dads everywhere. Poor Mike Rowe! Now he'll have to sit neck-deep in pig poop on his own time.

Dennis Farina has been cast as Nick's dad on New Girl, and I really, really hope the the Miller family never kept any horses.

In Mindy Project news, Ellie Kemper is coming to town, while sexy Shauna will be no more and Anna Camp (Mindy's best friend Gwen) has been demoted from series regular to recurring, because she knows a car crash when she sees it. Who knows, though, maybe all of the changes will make the show better... they can't hurt, right?

High on their freakishly good ratings, NBC is talking some crazy stuff about a Hugh Laurie-helmed series where the former House star is a pirate. Honestly, it sounds kind of awesome, with Laurie talking in his real British accent and the show -- currently titled Crossbones -- coming from Luther creator Neil Cross.

The Simpsons are filming a spec script that Judd Apatow wrote 22 years ago, which sounds super desperate, but screw it, if Apatow wrote it during Season 2, there's a good chance it won't be one of those episodes where there's three classic tall tales where the characters are played by Patty and Selma.
