Anyone fancy a spot of tea?

For those experiencing Downton Abbey withdrawal, your next fix is in sight. The third season of the British period soap (which is currently airing in its native land) will premiere in the US on January 6.

NBC has bought Grow The F**k Up and CBS bought How to Grow Up. Both will focus on people in their 30s, who are trying -- you guessed it -- to grow up. So they'll basically be like less funny Judd Apatow movies.

Sundance Channel is developing dramas produced by a slew of big names, including Robert Redford, Steve Buscemi and Stanley Tucci. Of course, that won't change the fact that nobody watches Sundance Channel.

Martha Stewart is executive producing a sitcom for Fox, called Tao of Martha. It focuses on a former party girl who tries to grow up by following the teachings of Martha Stewart. So it's even worse than you expected.

Sam Page, also known as Joan Holloway's jerk ex-husband, has been cast on Last Resort. Hopefully on that show he can steer clear of more flower vases being thrown at his head (even though he deserved that one).

An upcoming episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, will feature Patricia Arquette and Anne Meara. One is playing a hooker, the other her mother. Guess which is which?

Lifetime has cast Jennifer Hudson and Sarah Hyland in Five 2, the sequel to last year's breast cancer anthology. The new collection of short films will address mental illness and will probably be handled a bit more tastefully than on American Horror Story.
