Commence your sobbing Matthew and Mary 'shippers! Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens has confirmed that he's not returning for the show's fourth series. The reason for his departure was apparently made clear in the show's Christmas Special, which aired in the UK on Tuesday, but won't premiere stateside until February. Memo to all our British friends: mum's the word until then, mmmmkay?

Satisfied by Leverage's fifth season finale, which aired last night? Good, because late Friday afternoon, TNT announced that the season finale would also be the series finale for the heist drama. Guess it's time for Tim Hutton to start pitching that Ordinary People 2 idea again. Mary Tyler Moore isn't getting any younger.

After allowing their courtship and married lives to be filmed by Bravo, Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy are splitting up off-camera. Unless there's a super-secret Bethenny & Josh: Happily Never After series waiting in the wings.

Two notable farewells to cite from over the holiday weekend. First, veteran TV actor Jack Klugman, star of the beloved sitcom version of The Odd Couple, passed away on Monday at the age of 90. That same day, accomplished film and television star Charles Durning died of natural causes at 89.
