You can't keep a good slayer down.

Ringer didn't turn out so well, but Sarah Michelle Gellar isn't giving up on a TV comeback. The one-time vampire slayer is circling a 20th Century Fox TV-backed comedy about a group of parents who get up to no good when their kids are elsewhere. No way are those extracurricular activities more fun than staking bloodsuckers.

The winter edition of the TCA press tour continued over the weekend, with NBC announcing the new summer series Camp and suggesting that Bryan Fuller's Hannibal might not launch in the spring as originally planned. Two additional NBC-related bombshells were dropped as well: first, Up All Night creator Emily Spivey's departs the series right before it re-launches in a multi-camera format and Steve Carell probably won't be part of The Office series finale, although we'll be shocked if the writers don't find a way to include at least some reference to him. Maybe he'll post a review of the endless documentary the camera crew is making on Rotten Tomatoes.

7.9 million Anglophiles tuned in to watch Matthew and Mary tie the knot (and, more importantly, Maggie Smith and Shirley MacLaine go head-to-head) on the PBS premiere of Downton Abbey's third season. That'll buy a lot of tote bags.

Syfy's new TV series/online game Defiance will premiere on April 15, almost a full year after they started talking it up at the network's 2012 upfront presentation. Get your DVRs (and keyboards) ready.

Cancelled soap operas All My Children and One Life to Live have acquired... well, second lives. With union agreements worked out, both series will return with online-only episodes later this year.

USA's Necessary Roughness is returning for a third season. Because something has to fill the gap between new episodes of Covert Affairs, Suits and Royal Pains.
