William H. Macy: family man, working class hero, victim of bad hair.

Shameless: The Complete First Season
With Felicity Huffman's gig on Desperate Housewives wrapping up soon, it's nice to see that her hubby William H. Macy has landed a steady gig as the lead on the Showtime series Shameless. If only the show itself were more worthy of his considerable talents. A US remake of a UK program, Macy stars as working-class single dad Frank Gallagher, who rules over an unruly brood of six kids that includes eldest daughter Fiona (Emmy Rossum), whiz kid Phillip (Jeremy Allen White) and 8-year-old terror Carl (Ethan Cutkosky). Amy Smart, Jane Levy and Joan Cusack are among the supporting players.
Extras: A sneak peek of the Season 2 (which premieres on January 8); commentary on select episodes; and three featurettes.

Jersey Shore: Season 4 (Uncensored)
In case you didn't see enough of Jersey Shore's badly-behaved Guidos and Guidettes in the broadcast versions, here are the uncensored cuts of their season-long trip through Italy. Relive Snooki's epic break-up with boyfriend Jionni, her and Deena's run-in with the cops and The Situation complaining endlessly about wanting to go home. Only one more season left with this cast, folks. Our long national nightmare is gonna be over soon.
Extras: All the After Hour Specials, plus the Reunion Special; deleted scenes; confessionals and a fashion-themed featurette. The Borgias: The First Season
Having already turned the lives of the Tudors into a multi-season soap opera, Showtime turns their attention to another medieval clan, the Borgias. In 15th century Italy, Rodrigo Borgia (Jeremy Irons) was elected to the papacy and used his newfound powers to engage in all manner of illegal and illicit activities designed to benefit his sizeable family. Created by The Crying Game director Neil Jordan, the series also stars Joanne Whalley, Colm Feore and Derek Jacobi.
Extras: A behind-the-scenes featurette and additional episodes of other Showtime serials, including Gigolos, Episodes and the upcoming House of Lies.
